Max S McDonald returned to Heavenly Father on September 10, 2022, surrounded by family after losing the battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born on March 8, 1942 in Heber City Utah.
He married Barbara Fry on July 1, 1965 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
He is known for his Christlike love, service, and craftsmanship, all of which he loved to teach to others. He had a great love for family history and was involved with the scouting program for 20-plus years. He enjoyed orienteering and teaching the love and respect of the outdoors as he greatly loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and canoeing.
He is survived by his wife Barbara (Fry) McDonald, and their children: Darin (Johnny) of Ucon ID, Amy (Lorin) Widdison of Ogden Ut, Brenda Pierfelice of Boulder City NV, Travis (Trish) of Rigby ID, Cordell (Amy) of West Point Ut, Adrian (Amy) of Colorado Springs CO, he also has 25 grandkids and 13 great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Earl McDonald and Vera Edna Sweat, his brother Jay McDonald and his sister Connie Levitt.
