Max Mathews, 83, of Twin Falls passed away Monday morning, January 5, 2015 at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. Max was born February 15. 1931 in Idaho Falls, ID the son of Max John and Phyllis Leona Park Mathews. He graduated from Hilo High, Max attended the University of Idaho and was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and soon was drafted into the Korean War. Max enjoyed many outdoor activities in his early years. He was passionate about gold mining in the mountains near Salmon, Id.
