Max MacKay, 62, of Ottawa, died on Monday, February 20, 2017 at his home with his son at his side. Max was born on July 29, 1954 in Joplin, Missouri to Duncan and Barbara (McFarland) MacKay.
He was a glassworker at Libbey-Owens Ford for over 30 years. Max was an honest hardworking man, devoted father, and devout servant of the Lord. He is survived by his parents, 3 children Rachel Chapman, of Oglesby, Dale MacKay, of Grand Rapids, MI, and Jerry (Antoinette) MacKay, of Grand Rapids, MI, a brother Mark (Janet) MacKay, of Utica, a sister Rhonda (Rick) Moore, of Ottawa, and his dog Anwyn.
