Max H. Jones, 82, of Anderson, passed away on June 8, 2015 at the Community Hospital Anderson. He was born on February 20, 1933 in Anderson, Indiana. Max graduated from Anderson High School . He served his country in the Air Force for 24 years retiring in 1977. He was a life member of American Legion Post 408. Max is survived by his loving spouse, Nancy Anne Jones, step-daughters, Shari Hoffman, Sharyl (Keith) Hammon, siblings, Alice (Joe) Gahimer, Ruth (Don) Walker, Fred “Shorty” Jones, grandchildren, Rachael (Salvador) Medrano, grandson, Jeremy (Tyla) Winkler, 5 great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Michael Winkler, Elliott, Savannah and Susanne Medrano, special friend, John Smith and other legion members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta (Hanger ) Jones Ayers, father, Richard Jones, step-daughter, Sandy Winkler, grandson, Casey Winkler, sister -in-law, Roberta Jones, first wife, Judy Betty Jones, special friends, Barren Max VonRickleSnoot, aka Schotzie and Rusty.
