Max Bowman, 83, Anderson, died May 30, 2007 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness. He was born June 18, 1923 in Cicero, Indiana, and resided in Anderson since 1947. He retired from John J. Garrett automotive parts after 33 years of service. Max served his country in the US Army during WWII in the South Pacific. He enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by his wife whom he married June 22, 1947: Ruth Clark Bowman. Daughter: Deborah Ann & husband Stephen ”Skip” Myers of Anderson. Two Grandchildren: Cory Clark Myers and Kellie Gail Myers. Also surviving are four nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry & Laura Griffin Bowman. Brother: Lowell Bowman. Sister: Ruth Ella Hanner.
