Maurice Voisine, 75, of Farmington and formerly of Bristol, died Saturday September 27, 2008 at Farmington Rehabilitation Center, Farmington.
Mr. Voisine was born in fort Kent, ME on June 26, 1933 a son of the late Paul and Olive (Levesque) Voisine.
Maurice was a US Army veteran of the Korean War serving with the Military Police in Germany. After his discharge, he was employed by Acme-Monaco Spring in New Britain and worked there for many years.
His favorite pastime was going to OTB and watching the stock market, he also made a home for his cat “Butter”, short for Buttercup.
He leaves two sisters, his twin Doris Carrier of Newington, and Joella Paradis of Fort Kent, ME; four brothers and their spouses, Adest and Toni Voisine of Bristol, Reed and Marilyn Voisine of Bristol, Willard and Georgette Voisine of Severn, MD and Delcy Voisine of Torrington; he also leaves many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by four brothers and one sister.
His earthly remains will be interred in his father’s family plot at the St.
