Arcadia/Newark – Maurice Patrick Adams, 80 entered eternity on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Adams was born the son of the late Franklin and Virginia (Pentycofe) Adams on Saturday, October 8, 1932 in Palmyra, NY. He was a graduate of Palmyra High School in 1950. In 1964 he and his wife purchased a farm on Buffalo Road where they worked a Dairy Farm. Mr. Adams enjoyed working on cars and for 10 years he operated a used car dealership from his home. He was a licensed boxer in New York State having many fights over the years. He used to enjoy going to the race tracks with friends.
Mr. Adams will be remembered by his son Lance (Jane Ann) Adams of Newark; daughters Christine (Jon) Verkey of Newark, Lori (James) Jones and Coleen Adams both of AZ. Ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; brother Leo (Helen) Adams of Palmyra; many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Adams was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley (Cauwels) Adams in 2001 and brother Franklin Adams in 1981.
