Maurice Dwight Argabright

Maurice D. Argabright was born July 8, 1925 in Nemaha, NE and entered into eternal rest November 13, 2020 in McAllen, TX. He was the first son of Carl and Helen Argabright. Surviving are a sister, Ada Beth Knipe and one brother, Don Lee Argabright.
He graduated from Auburn, NE high school and attended the University of Nebraska one year before enlisting in the United States Navy during WW II and served as far as China for two years before returning home to Hiawatha, KS where his parents were farming. There he met and married his wife Margaret F. Warren on Feb. 1, 1948 and later had three daughters, and spouses Patricia L. and Randall McDaniel, Janet E. and Steven Vaughn and Susan C. and Kipley Farrington. He continued farming until he and a friend, George Dorris moved to Chanute, KS purchasing Gray Lumber Co. and ran it until Maurice retired and moved to Chanute, KS and lived until he and his wife moved to Hot Springs, AR where they lived until they purchased a home in 1999 in Harlingen, TX spending their remaining years.
Survivors include their daughters and spouses plus five grandsons, four great grandsons and four great granddaughters, numerous relatives and friends.
