Maureen (McCain) Hopkins, 69, of Nampa, passed away at her home on June 9th, 2020.

Maureen was born on October 31st, 1950 in Caldwell, Idaho and moved to Nampa in 5th Grade.  She attended Nampa High School and was on National Honor Roll and was co-captain of the drill team.  She was also Honored Queen of Jobs Daughters Bethel #4.  She graduated from Nampa High in 1969 moving on to attend Idaho State University for 2 years (‘69 & ‘70) joining the sorority Gamma Phi Beta and was the TKE Little Sister Princess.  She worked as a waitress at JB’s Restaurant in Pocatello training a new team to open a store in South Dakota.  She also worked at Maverick, KWIK Radio Station and Cable One.

Marueen married David Beck in 1972 and had two sons Sean and Jason Beck.  She later divorced and married Terry Hopkins in 1985 gaining two more family members, Terry R. Wills and Ryan P. Hopkins.  Terry was a football coach at Highland High School and Head Football Coach at Nampa High School.   Maureen and Terry were inseparable for 36 years.  They enjoyed many years of high school sports activities.  They traveled to Dallas and Denver for jobs then settled back in Idaho at Stewart Title and Pioneer Title.  Maureen retired due to auto-immune disease.

Maureen is survived by son Sean Beck, son Jason Beck (Lisa), stepson Ryan Hopkins (Audrey), and stepdaughter Terryl Hopkins (Brandon), brother, Steve McCain (Deb), sister, Debbie Lady (Deen), brother- in-law,Randy Hopkins, sister-in-law,Dixie Brinkman 8 grandchildren, Brenn, Ethan, Taris, Caleb, Sam, Connor, Aidan, Davis, and many nieces and nephews.

Maureen was preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Hopkins, parents, Frank and Sally McCain and brother, Jonn McCain.
