Maureen (Moe) Ellen Cleghorn, nee Murdoch, age 73, of Crown Point, IN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 7, 2021. Loving mother of Daniel John (Amy Devincenzi) Cleghorn.
Cherished grandmother of Tanner James Cleghorn and Jace Daniel Cleghorn. Sister of Mary Margaret Murdoch Sanders and the late Sean Andrew Murdoch. Preceded in death by her parents John Andrew Jr. and Ruth Elizabeth Murdoch.
Maureen graduated from Saint Peter and Paul High School in Chicago then went on to a long-distinguished career as an executive assistant with Midwestern University/ Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. In retirement Moe loved to spend time with friends, workout with her trainers at the gym, attend a prayer walking group regularly, and loved to eat out and bbq on her grill.
Maureen’s grandsons, Tanner and Jace, were the absolute love of her life, along with her cats Mojo and Bo.
Special thanks to Jaime, Patti, and St. Anthony’s Majestic Care Staff for their wonderful care of Maureen and to her cousins and dear friend who were at her bedside when she passed away. Maureen was a strong, amazing and caring woman. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
