Maura Ellen Reimer, 65, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Community Hospital Anderson, surrounded by her family.
She was born on December 12, 1949 in Anderson, where she resided for most of her life. Maura went to St. Mary’s in Anderson and she graduated from Pendleton Heights High School. She retired from D&D Brake after several years of service. She always enjoyed the simple things, like the summer sun, good movies, and barbecues. She cherished any time spent with her family and friends. She was long known for her witty comebacks and loving personality. Most have said she was the sweetest woman they ever did meet.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Crago; father, Henry Crago, Sr.; brother Henry Crago, Jr.; and special dog, Rosie.
Maura is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Mark Reimer of Anderson; daughter, Melissa Reimer of Anderson; second daughter, Casey Huffman of Anderson; brother, John (Lea Anne) Crago of Anderson; Kate (Keith) Clark of Washington; special niece, Angela Jenkins of Anderson; special friends, Lynn Robinett of Anderson, and Pat Latham of Greenfield; and several other nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
Maura also had a special place in her heart for all of the nurses at the Cancer Care Center at Community Hospital.
