Maudie B. McWaters, formerly of Fort Walton Beach, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, Martha Peeler and husband Howard; Faye Waters and husband Jerry; three sons, Herman McWaters and wife Joan; Dwight McWaters; Rick McWaters and wife Sarah; and daughter-in-law, Audrey McWaters; brother Eugene Anderson; and sister Lille Nell Campbell; fourteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Malvin McWaters; two sons, Everett McWaters and Doyce McWaters; grandson, David McWaters; parents, Onnie and Mae Anderson; brothers Oretha, Orenza, and Louie Anderson; and sister Rosie Castleberry.
