Mattie Lee “Molly” Williams was born May 11, 1936 in Grove Hill, AL to the late Emmie Chapman and Lee Williams. Molly departed this life on July 22, at the age of 85. She accepted Christ and united with the Mt. Zion No. 2 Baptist Church and later united with the Berry’s Chapel AME Zion Church of Jackson, AL, where she served on the usher board. After years passed, she reunited with the Mt. Zion No. 2 Baptist Church where she faithfully served on the usher board until her health failed. “Molly was a resident at the Jackson Healthcare Facility where she was affectionally known to the staff as “AUNTIE”. She enjoyed making crafts, and participating in various activities while living there.
She was proceded in death by her parents, Emmie Chapman and Lee Williams, one sister, Allie B. Calhoun, and one brother Hoover Todd.
She leaves to cherish memories, one brother Abraham “Mattie” Chapman of Grove Hill, AL. Molly also leaves sweet memories to numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
