Born in Lafayette County, MS to the late George Robert and Ella Smith Stripling, Mrs. Singletary was retired from Marks Cleaners. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church where she served in the nursery for over 20 years. She was actively involved in the Golden Prospectors Club at church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie F.
