Mat Heidman went to be with our Lord peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2020, in his home. He was born in Dallas, Texas to Jeff and Cindy Heidman. He was a beloved son and big brother to Aaron. He moved from Keller, Texas to the Newnan area where he graduated from East Coweta High School in 2006. Ever since he was a little boy, Matthew had a passion for working with his hands. He proudly worked as a TechOps AMT for Delta Air Lines, dedicating his passion and talent for the work for over nine years. He was always willing to lend a hand to family and friends from helping with auto repairs to home projects. Matthew lived life to the fullest, enjoying simple pleasures such as fishing, hunting, and jeeping. He also worked on his cars and metalworking projects and loved to cut loose with his friends and family and spoil his dogs. His friends describe him as a character who loved to joke around and make others laugh. He will forever be remembered as a sweet and caring brother, son, and friend. Matthew will be forever in our hearts and minds.
