McVAY, Matthew R., Of Portage. Passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011. Matt was born March 18, 1967, in Kalamazoo and was the son of Philip and Margy Gleesing McVay. He was a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and everyone who knew Matt loved him.
In 1991, Matt was united in marriage to the former Susan N. Bay McVay. Surviving are his wife, Susan; his children, Aaron McVay, Reed McVay and Stephanie McVay; his parents, Phil and Margy McVay; his sister, Shannon McVay Frost and a host of other relatives and friends.
