Matthew J. Phelan, 26, of Glen Burnie, passed away suddenly on February 15, 2017. He was born in Baltimore on September 22, 1990. He enjoyed playing baseball, collecting comic books and was an avid Orioles fan. Matthew was a hard worker and natural born leader. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Phelan.
He is survived by his father, Joseph Phelan and his wife, Suellen; sister, Megan Adams and her husband, John; niece and nephew, Gemma and Levi Adams; grandmother, Frances Phelan; girlfriend, Staci Spitzer; stepsisters, Tamara Governale and Andrea Payne; aunts, Mary Phelan, Joan Rogers (William), Joanne Beklik (Mo), Gerri Elza and Janet Russell; uncles, Robert Phelan (Jenn), Thomas Phelan (Pat) and William Phelan (Carol). He will also be missed by many extended relatives and friends.
