Matthew James Haley of Barnstable, passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2021 at the age of sixty. He was the beloved father of Madeleine Haley of Quincy, Jackson Haley of Weymouth and Grace Haley of Nashville. He was the brother of Maureen, Mark and Christine Haley of Maryland and the late Stephen Haley. He was the brother-in-law of Michael J Columbus. He was the uncle of Natalie and Isabella Thomas. Matthew was born on May 15, 1961 in Decatur, Georgia to Edward and Shirley Haley. He completed his undergraduate studies from Dartmouth College with a degree in Geography modified with Government. During his undergraduate years, he was elected President of the Dartmouth Rugby Football Club, and inducted as a member of the Sphinx Senior Society. He graduated with a Masters of Business Administration in General Management from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he was a founder of the Amos Tuck Rugby Club. He was Principal and Founder of two consulting and consumer products businesses, White Horse Watch and MJH Brands. Matthew had a passion for the outdoors, whether it was hiking in New Hampshire, biking or just spending time in nature with his loved ones. Matthew spent five years as the Board Chair of the Early-Learning Center at Faith Community Church, where he was a member of the congregation.
