Matthew J. Connolly, 47, of 835 Washington Ave., West Haven passed away Feb. 22, 29012 at his home. He was the husband of Olympia Zaino Connolly. Mr. Connolly was born in Massapequa, New York on Nov. 15, 1964, son of Eileen Dunn Zecca of Meriden and the late Andrew Connolly. He worked as a corrections officer for the State Dept. of Corrections. He served on the West Haven Democratic Town Committee and was a former member of the School Board of St. Lawrence School. He coached soccer and basketball in West Haven Youth Leagues and for St. Lawrence School. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by one daughter, Gina Connolly of West Haven; a brother, Kevin Connolly of Milford; a sister, Susan (Michael) Adamo of West Haven; step mother, Noreen Connolly in Florida; mother in law, Gina Zaino of West Haven; brother in law & sister in law, Frank and Karena Zaino; step brother, Robert (Jasmine) Lawson; step sisters, Dawn & Noreen Lawson; and nieces and nephews., 424 Elm St. (cor.
