Matthew Daly Campbell, went home to be with His Lord Jesus on March 24, 2016. Matthew was born on October 10, 1995 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was born on 10-10 and he weighed 10 lbs. and 10 ounces. Matt was widely known in Flagstaff as a friendly, tall greeter at Wal-Mart with a kind personality and a wide smile.

Mathew graduated from FALA in June of 2014. He then attended Coconino Community College. Matt was gifted in drama which was his life’s passion and occupational calling and he was in a number of plays and performances at FALA as well as with the Flagstaff Youth Theater including the Wizard of Oz, Babes in Toyland, A Miracle on 34th Street (in which he played one of the leading roles—that of Fred Gaily), and Beauty and the Beast. Matthew was a loving, caring, and compassionate human being who loved life, his family, his friends, and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Matt is survived by his mother, Jean Elaine Campbell, his father, Dr. David H. Campbell, his brother Jonathan H. Campbell, his sister, Savannah “Mei Mei” Campbell, and his grandmother Julia H. Crim of Forest, Virginia. Matthew is also survived by his Uncle Jerry Papin and Aunt Dr. Laila Papin of Scottsdale, Arizona, his nieces Madison and Callahan Papin of Scottsdale, his Great Uncle Ernie and Diane Welch of Belfast, Maine, his Great Uncle Ned and Tebbs Hickson of Pembroke Pines, Florida, as well as his Uncles Tom M. Campbell, III, of North Carolina, and William H. Campbell of Roanoke, Virginia, and his Aunt, the Reverend Laura Fry and her husband the Reverend Michael Fry of Pavilion, New York.

Matthew was preceded in death by his beloved great-grandmother Jean Welch or “Mi Mi,” his grandfather Dr. Emmett Daly, and his grandmother Sandra Daly, his step-grandfather the Reverend Keith R. Crim, and his grandfather, Dr. Thomas Moody Campbell, Jr.
