Matilda M. (Cerri) “Tillie” Ferroni, 97, of Cedar Point, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at IVCH, Peru.
Mrs. Ferroni was born on January 7, 1922 in LaSalle to Joseph and Angelina (Pinotti) Cerri. She married Elvio Ferroni on June 21, 1945. She graduated from L-P-O Junior College and was an elementary school teacher for more than 35 years, teaching in Cedar Point and LaSalle.
She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church, Granville and the Key Club, Granville. She is survived by nine nieces and nephews, Margerete Strack, Ann Cerri, Robert (Rita) Cerri, Tom (Betty) Cerri, Judy (Dave) Duvall, Sue (George) Donaldson, Joe (Sharon) Cerri, Vince (Frances) Cerri and Terri (Mike) Getty. She is also survived by a longtime friend, Kathy Frederick. She was preceded in death by her husband on February 22, 2001; four brothers and two sisters.
