Mason Russell Long, 15, of Asheboro, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston Salem. On Sunday, September 13, he was enjoying a fun time with friends when he was involved in a four-wheeler accident. His injuries were more than his body could recover from.
Mason was born December 6, 2004. He was the son of Jessica Beck Brower and Jonathan Long. He was a sophomore at Southwestern Randolph High School. Mason was a member of the Beta Club and played on the Cougar basketball team. He attended Foster Street Wesleyan Church in Asheboro. Mason enjoyed life to the fullest.
Survivors: mother, Jessica Beck Brower, and husband, Chris, and brother, Austin Long, of Asheboro, father, Jonathan Long, and wife, Kathy, of Level Cross, grandparents, Nellie Beck, of Seagrove, Mark and Kay Park of Asheboro, Phillip and Pam Brower, of Asheboro, step brother, Strader Brower, aunts and uncles, Tracie and Travis Luck, of Seagrove, Alicia and Mike Perham, of Leesburg, VA, Jamie and Carl Bailey, of Ramseur, Gregory and Megan Park, of Asheboro, and many cousins.
