Marylin J. (Grubar) Bayer, 65, of Deer Park Township, died at 5:49 a.m. Sunday, November 5, 2006 at home following an extended illness. Mrs. Bayer was born December 26, 1940 in LaSalle to Wilbur and Viola (Phillips) Carson. She graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School. She worked at Libby-Owens Ford, Carson-Pirie Scott and Company, and Wal-Mart.
She is survived by: three sons, Mark (Lisa) Grubar of Oglesby, Michael (Kathy) Grubar of Yorkville, and Jeffery (Dawn) Grubar of Utica; two daughters, Debbie (John) Castor of Dyer, Indiana, and Michelle Kiest of Naperville; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Haywood of Gardner and Carlyne (John) Goth of Oglesby; and one aunt, Thelma Parry of Peru. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Gerald Bayer; one brother, Willard Carson; and one sister Virginia Gallup.
