Marylin E. (Ciosek) Grenier, 79 of South Berwick, ME died Wednesday, September 15th, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Marylin was predeceased by her husband Ronald A. Grenier with whom she just shared her 58th wedding anniversary. Marylin is survived by her son Scott Grenier and his wife Colette of South Berwick, ME, and her daughter Heidi and her husband Dan Labrecque of Gloucester, MA and her five grandchildren: Ashley, Ronnie, and Andrew Grenier and Tim and Hayley Labrecque.
Marylin was born in Salem, Ma on September 17th, 1941 to the late William R. and Eleanor D. (Gagnon) Ciosek. She is also survived by her brother Richard W. Ciosek of Florida. She was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1959 and attended Salem Commercial School. She worked in the accounting department at the Salem News for many years.
Marylin’s greatest enjoyment of life was being surrounded by her family, vacationing at the Balsams Resort in Colebrook, NH, Jay Peak Vermont, and trips to Aruba and Myrtle Beach with her husband Ronald. Her greatest memories were summers with her grandchildren, experiencing all the joys that York Beach, ME had to offer them. Always known for her talent of knitting and handmade quilts as well as treating every meal as a Sunday dinner. Such a beautiful and generous woman, with a heart made of gold. She had a love for cats and feline rescue was a passion of hers. She was a strong supporter of the non-profit “Ally Cat Allies” of Maryland and “Safe Haven Humane Society for Cats” of Wells, ME.
