Maryann Gambardella Valo, 76 of Milford, formerly of Orange, passed away on Sept. 6, 2017 in Hartford Hospital Hospice, Hartford, CT
Maryann was born in New Haven to the late Ralph and Anna Rocco Gambardella on April 2, 1941. She worked as an assembler for Western Electric for over 10 years. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Maryann is survived by her husband John Valo, daughter Lisa Ann Boyington – Martone of Orange, son Joseph DeMattie of Shelton, brothers Ronald (Deborah) Gambardella of Milford Kenneth (Betty) Gambardella of Orange, grandsons Shawn and Kristina Martone of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Kevin Martone of East Haven, Frank Bontempo Jr. of Milford and great granddaughter Isabella Bontempo of North Haven.
In addition to her parents Maryann is preceded in death by her brother Frank Gambardella, paternal grandparents Maryanne and Francisco Gambardella and maternal grrandparents Troufena and Antonio Rocco.
