She was born June 15, 1930 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Edward Bourgeois & Margaret Fitzpatrick Bourgeois. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Himes and children, Sally Himes and Daniel Himes. Survivors include sons, John Himes of Plainwell,MI, Michael Himes of Sanford, NC; daughters, Brenda Verner of Decatur,GA, Patricia Payne of Lovonia,GA, Mary Key of Porterdale,GA; sons, Thomas Himes of Newnan,GA, Joseph Himes of Loganville,GA, Robert Himes of Newnan,GA, James Himes of Dawsonville,GA. Thirty-two grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; siblings, Edward Bourgeois, Jr, Barbara Huss; numerous nieces and nephews.
