Maryann Dunn, 84, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Formerly of Jersey City, she retired to Toms River until moving to Virginia two years ago. Maryann worked as a dental assistant, volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, liked to crochet and enjoyed bingo and trips to Atlantic City. Daughter of the late Lester and Catherine (Wren) Alburtus, wife of the late James H. Dunn. Sister of the late Lester (Al) Alburtus, and Irene Gminder.
She is survived by her daughters Denise Martinelli of Virginia, Kathleen Stiller and husband Vincent Stiller of Rhode Island, two beloved granddaughters Lauren and Christine Martinelli, and adored great granddaughter Amelia Grace Martinelli, the Apple of her Eye. A brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Alburtus, sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Edward Morrow, and special friend Nancy Vito.
