MaryAnn Ainbinder left this world to be with the lord on December 8, 2021. She was a wife, sister, friend, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was a retired realtor and also worked as a cake decorator but her life mostly revolved around her family. Her love for her husband was unwavering. Her family and God always came first. Never thinking of herself she gave all to those she loved. She was a fabulous cook and baker who would spend hours cooking for family and friends. Christmas was one of her favorite times of year and she made each and every one beautiful for her family. She was kind and giving in every respect.

MaryAnn came from a large Polish family and loved to dance. It would not be uncommon for her to grab you from a chair to dance if she heard music that moved her. She loved 50s music, old country, and the music from the Messiah as well as other genres. The Messiah was especially dear to her. It would always be played in our home at Christmas as a tradition passed down from her mother.

She was a cheer leader and played basketball in high school in West Hempstead New York. She played softball, tennis, coached cheer leading and bowled as an adult and was a good all around athlete. Even in her late 70’s she would go to the gym every day. She enjoyed cake decorating, sewing, ceramics amongst other hobbies.

MaryAnn had lifelong relationships. She met the love of her life Mickey when she was 14. They moved to Melbourne in 1972 from Stony Brook New York. They were married for 61 years. She maintained friendships from grade school and continued these relationships her whole life even though some lived thousands of miles away.

MaryAnn was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her beautiful blue eyes held a loving kindness. Her smile was contagious. Even when her memory and body failed, her infectious smile never left. Her smile would light a room. That smile, her love and caring will be missed forever.
