Spitzer, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Candlewood Valley Health Care Center, New Milford, CT. while recovering from a short illness. Mrs. Spitzer was born in New York, NY, October 21, 1918, a daughter of Elizabeth (Becker) and Charles W. Weitzel, Sr. A lifelong Ridgefield resident moving to Ridgefield at the age of two, Mrs. Spitzer was a legal assistant for many years to lawyers in Norwalk and Ridgefield until her retirement.
