Mary Lucy Walters Robinette, 81, of Englewood, Colorado, died at 7:50PM, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at home. She was born October 19, 1933 in Los Angeles California, to Frutoso “Fred” and Idlefonza “Concha” Longoria. Mary was married twice, first to Earl Enos Walters (deceased) and to George Robinette, who is still living.
Also surviving are her three sons, Michael Walters of Texas, Mark Walters of Colorado, and Miles Walters of California. She is also survived by 5 Step children, Mike, Mark, George L., Troy, and Marne Robinette; 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous other relatives in Colorado, Arizona, California and Texas.
Mary lived in California until 1971. She worked as a waitress early in life and then joined Savon Stores, which became Safeway. She moved to Colorado in 1971 and continued working at Safeway until retirement. Mary married George Robinette in 1976 and they remained married until her passing. She attended Metro State University and received an undergraduate degree in social work.
She loved to spend time with relatives and friends entertaining.
