Mary was born on January 26, 1943, the daughter of Luther L. Wells and Vera Alexandria Wells. She loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, flower gardening and hiking in the mountains.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jeff Smith, granddaughter Shelby Lynn Smith, grandson David Allan Smith and her sister Metarine Chapman.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years Joe Cunningham, sons Tom Smith (Ann) and William Smith (Margaret), 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
