Mary V. Bentley,91 of Peru,died at 4:56 am October 21,2014 in Heritage Health Care in LaSalle.
Mrs Bentley was born in Peru on December 22,1922. She married Woodrow A. Bentley and he died in 2001. Mrs Bentley was a grade school teacher in Chicago before retiring and moving back to Peru. She was an avid Chicago Cub fan and once sang the National Anthem at a Cub’s game.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband,one sister Irene Helme and one brother Robert Schmitz.
