Mary Theresa Welton Nov. 15, 1939 – Jan. 21, 2015 BROOKLYN – Mary (Mimi) Welton of Brooklyn, passed away peacefully at the Pierce Memorial Baptist Home on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the age of 75. Mimi is the daughter of the late William (Bill) Welton, Sr. and Verna (Johnstone) Welton of Norwich. She is predeceased by a brother, William Welton, Jr. Mimi was a loving and caring person who always had a smile and a kind word for those that knew her. She was a devote Catholic and graduated from the Academy of the Holy Family in Baltic. Mimi worked for several years at the Dempsey Center in Putnam and she participated in many outings and activities provided by the Brooklyn Senior Center. She is survived by two nieces, Jennifer Feeney of Taftville, Jillian Lichner of Benbrook, TX, and a nephew, Jason Welton of Groton as well as numerous cousins.
