Mary Teresa Murphy White, 80, Carmel, passed away January 28, 2010 at Carmel Care Health Center, Carmel, Indiana after an extended illness. She was born May 7, 1929 in Castle Gregory, Ireland, and resided in Carmel, Indiana.
Mary retired from General Motors after 44 years of service. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
Mary received her naturalization papers in 1956. She was a member of a Bowling League.
She is survived by her four children, Roy White, Lisa Greg Williams, Michael Jane White and Mary Bourke; three brothers, Mick Murphy, Patrick Murphy and Jerry Murphy; seven grandchildren, Kristen Bourke, Tony Bourke, Brian Bourke, Carly Williams, Carson Williams, Ryan Williams and Paul White; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married October 17, 1951 in New York, Roy Randolf White; parents, Jeremiah & Mary Moynihan Murphy and siblings, Jack, Frank, Cathy and Nora.
