Mary Tarnawa Berish, 89, of Milford, CT, died Friday, December 17, 2010. Born in Hinsdale, MA , December 11, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Frances Tarnawa of Milford, CT. Mary is survived by her two children, George Berish and his wife Ann (of Honolulu, HI) and Maureen Berish (of Milford, CT). She is also survived by her sister Helen Golembeski (of St. Michael’s, MD).
She is predeceased by her three brothers, Joseph and Rudolph Tarnawa of Milford, CT, and Edward Tarnawa of Kilgore, TX, and her sister Julia Basso of Stratford, CT.
Throughout her life, Mary gave more than she accepted in return: She departs with a soul God will greet with a hug and a smile, and the love of many she leaves behind.
