Mary Teresa Leturmy, age 88, a pioneer resident of Boca Raton for 69 years passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 in the comfort of her own home. She and her husband, Louis Leturmy operated a local business, Leturmy Landscaping & Power Spraying for decades, which is still owned and operated by one of their son’s Jerry Leturmy.
She was a wonderful mother & mother-in-law, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by her 3 sons Larry J. Leturmy (Pam) of Murphy, North Carolina, Jerry E. Leturmy (Nancy) of Delray Beach, Gary L. Leturmy (Julie) of Nashville, Tennessee and daughter Gigi Leturmy of Boca Raton. She also leaves behind her 7 cherished grandchildren: Maria (Jose), Suzy, Kristy (Jeff), Matthew, Jason (Aimee), Danielle (Case) and Garrett along with her 9 precious great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Rachel, Sarah, Gabriella, Tyler, Taylor, Ella, Nora & Riley; as well as her sister Eileen McAlduff of Lexington, Massachusetts, sister-in-law Irene Michak of Boynton Beach and daughter-in-law Becky Leturmy of Delray Beach along with many nieces and nephews and their families.
