Mary “Sue” Boster, 85, of Germantown Hills, IL passed away at 1:41 am on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her residence with her loving husband by her side. Sue was born on August 1, 1932 in Cleveland, Arkansas to George and Josie (Roberson) Ring. She grew up in Puxico, Missouri where she won the queen contest her senior year at Puxico High School. Having three grown children, she married James Albert Boster on February 1, 1980 at a small chapel in Las Vegas. Together they have five children.

Surviving are her husband James “Jimbo” Boster of Germantown Hills; five children James Fred (Lucy) Salzman of Anna Texas, Susan (Doug) Davenport of Secor, Stanley Gene (Maria) Salzman of Washington, Penny Sue (Keven) Forney of Oakwood, IL, and Russell Dean Boster of Morton; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and brother James G. (Carol) Ring of Germantown Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant brother, and one sister, Trudy, age 6.

Sue worked as a secretary with Jim Maloof Realty in Germantown Hills during the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. She became a nanny for two Peoria families. She enjoyed volunteering with her husband with the Germantown Hills PTO helping to raise funds for the school at the bingo hall in Peoria.
