Mary Husak Sowa, 91, of East Haven passed away Sept. 25, 2013 in the St. Raphael’s Campus of Yale NH Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 71 years to the late John Sowa. Mary was born in Pukacivchi, Western Ukraine on May 15, 1922. She came to this country in 1949 and settled in New Haven in 1950.
