Mrs. Savoldi was born, December 24, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Jimmy Stuckey Dykes and Norma (Pilkington) Dykes. She married Joe Savoldi December 12, 1981 in Birmingham. She moved to central Texas in 2003 from Colorado and had lived in New Mexico prior. She worked for Belton High School as the assistant principal’s secretary for 14 years. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband Joe Savoldi of Temple, son Joe W. Savoldi of Temple and daughter Christina Gober and husband Gary of Temple. two brothers James Dykes of Mobile, Alabama and Bill Dykes of Helena, Montana; one sister Dr. Elizabeth DeGive of Georgia and one grandson Elijah Gober.
