Hagerstown, MD – Mary Savannah Orndorff, 86, of College Rd. Hagerstown, MD passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at her home.
Born, August 25, 1924 in Broadway, Virginia to the late Isaac Clarence and Eve May Heishman Keller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Lee Orndorff in 1989.
She was a graduate of Mathias High School Mathias, WV. She received her bachelor’s of education degree from Shepherd College and her masters of education from Shippensburg College.
She was employed by the Washington County Board of Education for 44 years until retiring in 1989. She was most recent a teacher at Winter Street Elementary School.
She was a member of Battlefield Bible Church Fairplay, MD.
She was a member of AARP, Maryland Retired Teacher’s Assoc., Washington County Retired Teacher’s Assoc.
Survivors Include:
2 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great nephews and cousins
She was predeceased by one brother Glenn Godlove.
