Mary S. Homa, 73, of Quakertown, passed away early Wed., Jan. 10 at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. She was the loving wife of Thomas Homa for 31 years. Born in Wellsville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur G. and Lynne “Kae” (Slocum) Miller. For 32 years, Mary worked as a teller and head teller for the former Provident National Bank, Harleysville National Bank and First Niagra Bank. She was a former member of the Quakertown Historical Society. Mary loved gardening, and liked to collect teddy bears (especially Boyds Bears), Annalee dolls (the mice were her favorite) and Longaberger baskets. She also enjoyed traveling, and her two favorite places to vacation were Prince Edward Island in Canada and Branson, Missouri. Surviving with Thomas are her children: Kurt H. Tommuscheit, Jr. of Quakertown; Kevin A. Bliss; Thomas Homa, Jr. of Honey Brook; Jacqueline D. Homa of Philadelphia; Helen L. Mann, husband Troy of Honey Brook; grandchildren: Thomas, Autumn, Connor, Lukas and Natascha; brothers: Robert Jeffrey Miller of Philadelphia; Scot Miller, wife Clair of Genesee and Michael Miller of Santan Valley AZ; also, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur G. Miller, Jr.
