Mary Ruth Rabun, age 87, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday September 24, 2020. She was born on January 7th, 1933. She was preceded in death by her parents Manning Hamilton Thomason and Viola Gertrude Redmon, and her husband Kenneth Rabun. Mary Ruth loved going to church. She was a member of Riverbend Church of Christ. She always enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Mary Ruth graduated from Valley Point High School in 1950. Mary Ruth was a very devoted employee at Shaw Industries for 341/2 years and retired in1998. Survivors include her brother Hoyt Thomason of Dalton; sister in law Julia Ruth Thomason of Texas; nieces Cindy, Brianna and Brian, Rhonda, Jill, Natashia and Emma; nephews Timothy, Ronnie and Michelle, Daniel, Lewis, Isaiah, Elijah, Robbie, Ryan and Brice with many other family members and friends.
