Mary Romona Miller
Mary R. Miller, 88, of Kingwood died Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at her residence.
She was born September 6, 1928, in Terra Alta, a daughter of the late Everett and Louise Lewis Bolyard.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, served for several years as secretary for Cobun and Miller Electric Company, was Citizen of the Year for Kingwood, a volunteer for the Red Cross, a member of the Red Hats, a member of the Preston Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the Homemakers, a member of the Civic Club and she loved her card playing friends.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her son, Michael Miller and his wife, Nancy of Kingwood; her daughter, Roxann Light and husband, Jan of Kingwood; her daughter-in-law, Connie Miller of Kingwood; her brother, Charles Bolyard of Kingwood; her sisters, Charlotte Freeland of Oakland, MD, Harriett Freeland and husband, Jim of Terra Alta and Joyce McGinnis of Bristol, VA; her sister-in-law, Dottie Bolyard of Terra Alta; her grandchildren, Stacey Dobson, Chad Miller, Megan Miller, Nathan Light and Heather Anderson; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death in death by her husband, Thomas W. Miller in 1998; her son, Richard Miller; a brother, Louis Bolyard; a sister-in-law, Marian Bolyard; two brothers-in-law, John McGinnis and Donald Freeland.
