Mary Francis Burge and Robert W. Burge
Mary Francis Burge 79, of Kingwood died Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Monongalia General Hospital with family by her side.
She was born July 21, 1937, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Oliver (Ted) and Jessie Hawley Stemple.
Robert W. (Bob) Burge, 86, of Kingwood died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Pine Ridge with family by his side.
He was born June 8, 1929, in Albright, a son of the late Henry W. and Ella Beatrice Funk Burge.
Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a founding member of the Hardee’s Ladies Coffee get together. She began her real estate career in 1988 with Willis Robertson and purchased his business in 1995. Renaming the business to Houses and More Real Estate she continued as a sales agent and broker until she sold her business to the present owner Susan Miller in 2008.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Burge and wife, Cathy of Kingwood and Ronny Burge and wife, Trudy of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Brian Burge and wife, Rachel, Bethany Longwell, Veronica Vandevender and husband, Jason and Christopher Swecker and wife, Erica; six great-grandchildren, Addison Longwell, Hunter Vandevender, Brooks Burge, Bowie Whitaker-Lowe, Wiley Swecker and Delilah Swecker and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Burge.
