Mrs. Pribnow died at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 17, 2015.
Mary was born in Cedar Rapids, NE, on March 6, 1944, the daughter of Gilbert and Catherine Kitty (Boesch) Ritzdorf. She attended St. Anthonys Elementary School before graduating from Cedar Rapids High School in 1962.
Following high school, Mary began her career with Dale Electronics in Columbus and later in York.
On October 12, 1963, Mary married Roger Pribnow. They farmed for a short time west Albion before returning to Columbus. In 1973, they moved to York. There, Mary became the personal manager for Dales. When the family moved to Norfolk, in 1987, Mary retired from Dales to raise their two sons. She operated a daycare until her health began to fail in 1995.
Mary was active in the Altar Society at Sacred Heart Church and participated in the White Elephant Sale every year.
She and Roger liked to travel with their camper and discovering the many wineries in Nebraska. They were members of the Meadow Sam RV Camping Club.
Mary was really fond of being around people, especially her family.
Mary is survived by her husband of more than fifty-one years, Roger; their two sons and their spouses, Eric and Jill Pribnow, John and Karma Pribnow, all of Norfolk; one grandson, Kaden; one brother, Jim Ritzdorf, of Aurora, CO, and one sister, Sandra Ritzdorf.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dan.
