Mary Ann Prejza, age 47, passed away at her home after her courageous struggle with kidney cancer on Tuesday, May 25, 2004. Born in San Antonio, she was the daughter of Lucio and Antonia Valderaz Rangel. A lifelong resident of Boerne, Mary Ann was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and had worked for USAA for over 20 years. Preceded in death by her father, she is survived by her husband, David; Mother, Antonia Rangel; Sisters, Consuelo R. Montez, Connie Juliano and her husband, Mark, and Hope Valdez; Brothers, Refugio Rangel and his wife, Liz and Ray Rangel and his wife, Melody; Numerous Nephew and Nieces. The Recitation of the Rosary will be on Thursday, May 27 at 7:30 P.M.
