Pat was born on January 12, 1947 to the late George and Maureen (Campbell) Hitz. A graduate of Madison Heights High School and Butler University, Pat married her high school sweetheart, Michael Gallamore, on November 29, 1969. Pat was a teacher both in the school system and in life. She began her career teaching in Franklin Public Schools and retired from Noblesville School District. Her nature of acceptance for all people allowed her to bring out the best of everyone she met, teaching others how to love themselves as she was loved by the Lord.

Nothing brought Pat more joy than family. Whether it was lunching and laughing with her sisters, hosting Labor Day reunions, traveling across the country with friends she considered family, or just visiting with her children and grandchildren. Pat was never more content than when enjoying the sounds of her family’s happiness.

Survivors in addition to her loving husband Mike include; her three children, Mark (Molly) Gallamore, Megan (Brian) Powell, Molly (Noah) Champion, three sisters, Ann (Jim) Hitz-Chaille, Jane Hitz-Sasser, Barbara Hitz and four grandchildren, Jacob and Roxy Powell, Matthew and Max Gallamore.
