Mary Margaret Nelson was not only a high school and college English teacher, but also an inspiration, role model, and shoulder to lean on for all those who knew her. Her love of the Lord was evident in her daily actions and love for all those with whom she came in contact. She forever changed the lives of those she taught, befriended, and loved.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Ron Nelson; daughter, Rachel Alexander (Will); sons, Philip Nelson (Ashley) and Johnathan Nelson (Kelly); grandchildren, Darrell and Sarah Gilliland, Ethan Nelson, and Caroline Nelson; sisters, Lynne Hunt and Theresa Johns.
