Mary N. Garland, 86, of Centralia, passed away, Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Centralia Manor.

Mary was born June 22, 1933 in Centralia, the daughter of Roy Garland and Mae (Ledbetter) Garland. She married Spike Cox and he preceded her in death. She later met her companion, Fred Basden and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son-in-law: Rick Bean of Decatur, a grandson: Matt Bean and wife Kim of Decatur, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a sister: Melva Turner of Centralia, several nieces and nephews, and a special care giver: Casey Erlinger of Centralia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Spike Cox, companion: Fred Baston, a daughter: Debbie Bean, and eight siblings: Roy Garland, Joe Garland, Tom Garland, Bill Garland, Harriet Session, Maxine Yauch, Opal Spencer, and Dorothy White.

Mary worked as a Bank Teller for many years. She was of the Protestant Faith. She enjoyed baking, eating sweets, talking about Politics and being on Facebook.
