Mary Pierce Mothershead Crowder, 90, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born May 7, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charles Aubrey Mothershead Sr. and Mabel Luttrell Mothershead. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Allen Crowder Sr.; two sons, Horace Allen Crowder Jr, and David Lee Crowder; and two brothers, Donald Mothershead, and Charles Aubrey Mothershead Jr. Mary was a longtime member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church where she loved to volunteer and spend time with her church family. She is survived by her son, Charles Ray Crowder and wife Jennifer L. Crowder; grandchildren, John and wife, Caitlin Crowder, Jordan Crowder, Daniel Crowder, Jessie Crowder, Shawn Crowder, and Tonya Crowder; great-grandson, Matthew Crowder; and numerous other great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
